El Chavez Ravine at SAMA
This closes Sunday at SAMA in San Antonio, if you haven’t seen it yet. Vince Valdez’s “El Chavez Ravine,” a redone 1953 Good Humor ice cream truck he painted to depict the displacement of Chicano people in L.A. when Dodger Stadium was built.
